I founded Horizon Realty of Montana in 2002. My 30+ years of experience in the business world prior to establishing my own brokerage included such varied endeavors as buying, refurbishing, and selling dozens of residential and commercial properties, managing rental properties, operating a remodeling business, and unexpectedly one day being offered the opportunity to own and operate a seafood restaurant in Oregon. Knowledge gained from those experiences have honed my skills in evaluating properties, negotiating contracts, and developing and sustaining long lasting Broker/Client relationships.

In 1987 my wife Susan and I, and our five children moved to Pine Creek, in the Paradise Valley, just south of Livingston. We brought with us a design and gift manufacturing business. My interests outside of work include politics, reading historical novels, refinishing furniture, working on projects at home, and hiking with Baron, a big, robust, and lively half Black Lab, half Newfoundlander. With the Absaroka Mountains as our neighbors to the east, and the Yellowstone River a short walk to the south, Susan and I found our family Home In Montana.
